Fashion Design (B.A., minor)
In addition to preparing students to work as fashion designers (with additional possibilities in product development and fashion journalism), faculty in this area also conduct research on the histories, cultures, politics, and psychology of dress. Graduates from the M.S. program typically work in museums and teach as professors. This program is supported by the Sage Fashion Collection, which consists of more than 24,000 historic objects of dress for men, women, and children.
